Cookie policy
Zengist sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for sessions. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What the site stores in your browser instead
- Settings (which engine to use, summary length) in local storage under the key
zengist:v1. - Recent results in IndexedDB, up to the last 20, so you can reopen them. Delete them from the recent list on the home page.
- Downloaded models, if you opted in to a private model, in the browser's cache storage so they do not download twice.
All of this stays on your device and is never read by our server. Clearing site data for zeng.ist in your browser removes everything.
Third parties
Plausible analytics runs cookieless and stores nothing in your browser. Cloud runs send text to our server only for the length of the request; see the privacy policy.
